The 2025 Resident Survey  

(Click here for Resident Survey Results 2025)  -has now been completed, and the results offer a valuable snapshot of life at Sherburn House. Every response—every comment, rating, and suggestion—helps us understand what residents truly experience day to day.

Residents consistently praised the kindness, patience, and dedication of care staff. Many described staff as approachable, respectful, and willing to go the extra mile. This year’s results show that trust in staff remains one of the strongest pillars of resident satisfaction, reinforcing just how important those everyday interactions are. A reassuring majority of residents reported feeling safe in their care home, both physically and emotionally. This reflects strong safeguarding practices and attentive staff.

April Knit and Natter  (click here)

April has been action packed we’ve had our annual Easter Egg hunt, our regular good Friday Fish and Chip delivery and or Knit and Natter afternoon.  We’ve even managed to fit in a visit from our local accordion player which was much appreciated by all.

March Round Up

Take a look at what our residents have been up to this month  – Pancakes Races, Armchair Exercises, St Patrick’s Day Bingo, Crafts and Quizes and so much more.  We also had a visit from Wag and Co always a favorite with everyone cuddles and treats for the dogs.  We also celebrated Mothers Days with Afternoon Tea.  We are now looking forward to Easter and the wonderful and creative things ahead this coming April.
