Beddell House Care Home is a beautiful , newly refurbished, Victorian era-stately home set within its own 15 acre grounds. The setting is perfect for a short stay or respite break where you can relax and enjoy the high quality care and support, which is bespoke to your individual needs and preferences.

Short breaks offer:

  • A change of scenery and a chance to take a break from the usual routine, treat it like a holiday!
  • The perfect environment for people who are convalescing or simply wish to enjoy a break in the knowledge you’re individual support requirements will be met by highly trained care staff.

  • A chance for those thinking of moving to us on a permanent basis to fully experience Beddell House for themselves before making a decision.

Carer Support

Many of our short stay / respite break guests return several times per year, giving carers a well deserved break from their caring responsibilities. Relatives/carers can recharge their batteries knowing their loved ones are in safe hands.

Facilities

  • Award winning menus on offer which caters for all tastes and cultures.  Main meals are served in the orangery or even room service if you wish.
  • Refreshments several times per day but we will always make you a cuppa at any time of the day or night!
  • You can choose to join in with daily activities, but you are not obligated to, if you prefer you can watch a film in the cinema room, spend quiet time in our Gentleman’s bar or take a stroll around the estate where you can enjoy the wildlife..
  • Free Wi Fi access and iPads are available throughout Beddell House to enable residents to keep in touch with their loved ones.
  • Hairdressing and chiropody services are offered and are payable locally.

All guests are assessed to determine specific requirements prior to booking confirmation.

Short stay breaks are on a full board basis and are subject to availability. These breaks are popular with guests who often return several times a year. It is therefore advisable to book early.
