After a multi-million pound refurbishment, Sherburn House Charity are looking to expand their team at Beddell House Care Home.
The Operations Manager, reporting directly to the CEO, will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day to day operations of the charity in line with its strategic plans, through leading and supporting the administration team.
This is a senior position within the organisation and the post holder will be required to support teams from all levels and across all departments . Ensuring all charity activities are aligned with the organisation’s mission and goals, and that resources are effectively sourced and utilised to maximise impact and outcomes for our beneficiaries.
You will also monitor and identify areas for improvement across the charity’s activities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation and its teams.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field such as adult social care/social housing. They should have a minimum of 5 years experience in senior leadership , preferably in the nonprofit sector.
Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as the Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse team and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders. Additionally, candidates should have a solid understanding of nonprofit budget management, and compliance with regulatory requirements of adult social care. The ability to think strategically, problem-solve, work unsupervised and adapt to changing circumstances is crucial in this role.
