Charity News!

We are excited to share that the Charity has responded to Durham County Council’s Call for Sites and is seeking a potential land allocation within the County Durham Plan.

If successful, this would create an opportunity for the Charity to increase its charitable activities and further improve the quality of life for vulnerable people across the region. Any future value created from the Charities assets would be used to support and strengthen our charitable work and services we provide.

It is important to note that the submission  of the land in the Call for Sites process does not guarantee allocation in the Local Plan or approval for development; at this stage, the submission simply identifies land that Durham County Council may wish to consider as part of the Local Plan Review process.

We appreciate that members of the local community may have questions, however, at this stage no detailed proposals have been prepared. Should Durham County Council take the site to the next stage of consultation, we look forward to sharing more information about the opportunity and engaging with residents and stakeholders.
