from Sherburn House Charity CEO
My colleagues and I are doing everything in our power to support the ongoing health and wellbeing of residents and staff during these extraordinary times.
I am proud to say that our employees have worked tirelessly over the past year to maintain a “business as usual” approach to keeping the everyday work of the charity going whilst also undertaking additional roles and responsibilities to maintain a virus free environment, particularly in our residential care home.
I would like to reassure you that we have robust policies and procedures in place for every aspect of our work across the whole charity. All health and safety policies comply with the very latest guidelines from national government, Health & Safety Executive and the NHS and these are regularly reviewed to ensure we are up to date with the latest thinking on Coronavirus management.
I wish to thank those of you who have relatives living with us in Beddell House Care Home for your patience and support during the ongoing visiting restrictions. We are all feeling jaded by the length of time these restrictions have been in place and I am hopeful that the recent vaccination of staff and residents and the continued roll out of vaccinations to the general population will see us reunited with our loved ones again in the not-too-distant future. Until then, stay safe and do get in touch if you have any queries or concerns about our work here at the Charity.
