Access to the property is gained via a secure intercom system from the main entrance which provides access into the communal hall and three ground floor flats with stairs rising to the first floor landing with individual doors to the three separate first floor apartments.
Communal areas are cleaned by the housekeeping team on a weekly basis.
There is also an opportunity to join in group activities with residents of Thornley House.
We also accept tenants in receipt of Housing benefit.

Included in the price of rent is: Grounds Maintenance, Property Maintenance, On-site maintenance support Monday-Friday, weekly communal cleaning, annual boiler servicing and TV Licence for over 75s. Rent is payable to Sherburn House Charity
Council Tax, utilities, phone line and internet are arranged by the tenant and paid direct to the supplier.
Yes, freshly made hot and cold lunches can be ordered and delivered from Beddell House Care Home 7 days per week, at an additional cost.
Yes, there is a cleaning provision available and can be arranged with the housekeeping team at Beddell House, at an additional cost.
There is fast fibre broadband installed in each apartment. Tenants are responsible for choosing their own provider and arranging for connection.
There is a secure door entry system which allows tenants to visualise who is at the door before access is granted.
