What is happening in Beddell House? July 2022
Over the past few weeks, Claire and Amy from the Care Home Wellbeing Service have been coming to work in partnership with Beddell House Care Home.
This is an NHS Funded scheme with the aim of improving the wellbeing of both care home residents and staff. The service provides wellbeing resources, confidential 1 to 1 support for staff (in person or by telephone), whole home support (wellbeing visits) and running wellbeing projects for both staff and residents.
Over the past few weeks residents have taken part in creating ‘The Tree of Life’ in the style of a mosaic using tile pieces, working outside and making the most of the beautiful weather. This required skill and concentration from our residents and the feedback has been very positive on this project I am sure you will agree they have done a fantastic job! This will be displayed at Beddell House Care Home for everyone to enjoy.
On Tuesday 26th July, Beddell House welcomed Claire and Amy back as they offered our residents the opportunity to ride on a rickshaw around the grounds!
Residents, the visiting family members and staff were all in awe of seeing this fantastic service delivered on site in partnership with Hand in Hand Activities.
